A Stunning Declaration

For she who walks the road,  and she who climbs the trees, for she who runs, she who paints, and she who sees, for he who weeps, and she who doesn't, for all that is, and all that wasn't, for liberty and all who dare, to bring her when she isn't there. For boldness and the strength to speak, for vigor when our hearts are weak, for she who dares to just obey, for She who has no words to say, For he carries this world's weight, for she who bears an empty plate. For she who yearns and she who's empty, for she who wants, and She with plenty, for every girl I've ever mentored, every door I've ever entered. Every tongue and every nation, may He render a stunning declaration.

"I have made a stunning declaration, and your fruit shall be many, and mighty."

Dear Reader,

One sentence can change everything. Everything. That sentence, the one right above this, was spoken to me in a dream last night.
It was strange, there was very little context, but those were the words. "A stunning declaration" Very few people in my life, or perhaps only one, would understand the significance of that sentence, and the choice of the word "declaration" combined with the understanding of much, and mighty fruit.
Even so, I was touched by the sentence and compelled to write this post as law school is over, and life is entering a new season.

The first listed definition of "declaration" in the dictionary I just used was: "An explicit formal announcement, either oral or written."  In 1776, just shy of five dozen men gathered in Philadelphia, America's city of Brotherly Love, to make a declaration that redeemed us from English tyranny, a declaration for independence sake. To those men, almost every person I know owes a debt. Those men toiled to restrain the king's might. See, in those days, it was not Lex Rex, or "Law above King" it was "Rex Lex" "King above Law", and those men said "No more." Signatures on a document which offered us the freedom we cherish so deeply. The made, as it were, an explicit formal announcement. The announcement they heralded said "Injustice will no longer be tolerated here. At this moment justice has fallen, and we declare liberty from the tyrant that enslaved us once, for today, we say 'no more!' "

This declaration, though loud, bold, brave, and true, would not have been what I would call "stunning", however, that was the word used in last night's declaration in my dream, and it got me to thinking.
Being created in the Image of God creates in us a declaration that is stunning. To choose Him is to chose to walk in all of the stunning words and dreams HE HAS FOR US, and in that walk, our fruit will be many and mighty.by His grace.

If you're reading this and find yourself beneath the feet of a figurative tyrant, or bound in some sort of tyrannical past, break out. The declaration spoken over YOU as a priceless and cherished individual is STUNNING. If you, in that image, desire to do God honoring things, don't ever be afraid, not for a single second, to do them, for the God of the ages, who is Himself ageless, will keep you and equip you to walk on the choppiest of waters. The liberty He offered you affords you the opportunity to bear much, and mighty fruit, and to multiply His kingdom, for His glory alone, You can do it, and by His grace, you will.

He loves you, and in your life He has made an explicit formal announcement that tyranny can no longer dwell, an explicit formal announcement that injustice and bondage are required to be gone, an explicit formal announcement that He who speaks for YOU will never be silenced, an announcement that you bear His image, and LET ME TELL YOU, that image is stunning.

May you rest in His declaration, and may your fruit be many and mighty as you do so,
Court
